Alex Blickenstaff, Vice President of Engineering at AGBO, leads the engineering team building the AI technology layer that connects the company’s linear and interactive businesses. His team works closely with artists, producers, and business teams to build innovative tools that enable them to do more, faster.
Prior to AGBO, Alex spent nearly a decade at Apple, where he most recently led a data engineering and AI infrastructure team building large-scale backend systems and APIs. Earlier in his career he worked at Roblox, Microsoft, and Meta, and was a founding engineer and co-founder at several Silicon Valley startups.
Alex has been building software for most of his life. He taught himself to code by making Xbox games in middle school, eventually selling tens of thousands of copies. He holds a BS from MIT, where he double majored in Computer Science and Philosophy. Alex grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and lives there today.
