We held our inaugural AGBO Drive-In Theater in August 2020 where guests enjoyed local bites and watched Spider-Man: Homecoming under the Downtown LA stars.  All donations from the evening supported ‘Communities in Schools of Los Angeles,’ whose mission is to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life. Learn More about Communities in Schools of Los Angeles

In November 2020, the AGBO Drive-In Series returned with a double feature: an LAFC game followed by a screening of The Nightmare Before Christmas. Proceeds from the event went towards ‘The Midnight Mission,’ an amazing organization that offers paths to self-sufficiency to men, women and children who are experiencing homelessness in Southern California. Learn More about The Midnight Mission

When the pandemic hit in March, AGBO teamed up with City Market Social House and VOX Productions to support the entertainment industry workforce through food donations.  Founded in 2020 arising from the absolute and immediate need for aid and support for the Special Event, Live Entertainment and Film and TV Production Industries, EventLA is a community of passionate individuals focused on driving fundraising efforts, distributing direct resources, coordinating access to legal and government resources. Learn more

AGBO worked with Slice Out Hunger and donated to their Pizza vs. Pandemic program, which sends pizza to local hospital workers, while also supporting small businesses that have struggled to stay open this year. The donation directly supported our City Market neighbor, Superfine Pizza, and was delivered to front-line healthcare workers in the DTLA area. Learn about Pizza vs. Pandemic

The Skid Row Housing Trust provides permanent supportive housing so that people who have experienced homelessness, prolonged extreme poverty, poor health, disabilities, mental illness or addiction can lead safe, stable lives in wellness.  AGBO employees volunteer in the community through programs set up by Skid Row Housing Trust, which in the past have included cooking or serving food to transitioned residents, painting interiors of the facilities, gardening events, and more. Learn about the Skid Row Housing Trust
